June 24th, Card of the Day

This post is a day late, and as of the time of writing, the Bakemonogatari boosters and Rewrite trial decks were released, along with it’s decklists on the main ws-tcg.com website. Nevertheless, this will be the last set of Bakemonogatari and Rewrite TD card of the days you’ll see.

The yellow Rewrite card features Kotori. 1/1, 6.5k power, 1 soul, no soul trigger, Plant and Occult traits. When this card attacks while you ave two other Occult trait characters on your Stage, all your characters gain +500 power until the end of this turn.

As for the Bakemonogatari card, it’s named “Lovers Koyomi Araragi and Senjougahara Hitagi’. 1/0, 4.5k power, 1 soul, no soul trigger, Strange and Blood traits. Has an experience effect; if the cards in your level area are 2 or more, this card gains +500 power (bumping it to 5k power) and hand encore. It’s second ability is a climax combo (it’s corresponding climax is a +2 soul buff) – when this card attacks while the climax “Watashi no subete” (My Everything), you may pay 1 stock. If you do, look at the top 5 cards of your deck, choose 1 Strange trait character from them, show it to your opponent and add it to your hand. Discard the rest of the cards into your Waiting Room.

June 13th, Card of the Day

Senjougahara Hitagi is today’s card of the day, hailing from the Bakemonogatari series.

2/2, 6.5k power, 2 soul, soul trigger, Strange and Stationery traits. This card has an experience effect; it gains power equal to the level of the cards you place in your level area x 500.

June 1st, Card of the Day

Hi everyone,

This is the card of the day for June 1st. It’s Senjougahara from Bakemonogatari!

It has weird and stationary traits. A 0/0 2.5k which gains another 1.5k power and hand encore if it’s played alone. Good beatstick at lvl 0 that’s for sure but keeping it on field prevents you from attacking more and gaining more stock. Let’s see the next CoTD coming soon!!!

May 20th, Card of the Day

Bushiroad has already uploaded the full card lists for both the Idolm@ster 2 and Bakemonogatari trial decks. Nevertheless, I’ll still give my short reviews on both cards of the day that are from these trial decks, one of which being a pretty darn good buffer.

The card on the left is the main heroine of Bakemonogatari, Senjougahara Hitagi. 1/1, 7k power, no soul trigger, 1 soul, Strange and Stationery traits. Has no abilities; it’s a vanilla beatstick.

The card on the right is the lovable Yayoi hailing from Idolm@ster 2! 2/1, 5k, soul triger, 1 soul, Music and Frog traits. This card is a level buffer; this card’s support ability gives cards in front of this card a power bonus of 500 multiplied by their level. What makes this card even better is that it cannot be targeted by your opponent’s effects, which shuts away any events or card abilities that are meant to remove cards from the Stage, and most importantly, climax synergy, card triggers (Tornado) and card abilities that forces you to return a character from your Stage to your hand. You can pretty much ensure this card sits around for good once it’s played down.

Additionally, it’s yellow, a color that isn’t known for stable level buffing synergies! Both it’s ability and color makes it an exceptional buff card that’s a welcome addition to the Idolm@ster series.

April 29th, Card of the Day

Today’s a happy day for most of us for reasons only we know why. Anyway, today’s card of the day is from Bakemonogatari, featuring the ever so pretty Senjougahara Hitagi, in a mighty level 3 form. Oh, I’m so in love, though I don’t watch Bakemonogatari at all.
